I thought I would share some more photos with you of my day in town last Thursday.

Below is a photo taken in Darling Harbour looking towards the new development at Barangaroo.

If you look very closely, you will see, between the Maritime Museum building and the lighthouse, the Harbour Masters' tower.  This was where all of Sydney Harbour's traffic used to be controlled from, when Sydney was still a working port.

In the foreground is the James Craig.  You can also see the old lighthouse.  To me it represents the old history of Sydney and what will be the new history of Sydney.

It was a very hot day in Sydney town last Thursday, the temperature reached 39 degrees celsius.

I went to town with a group of friends to visit the tall ship James Craig, a restored 3 masted barque built in 1874 and originally named Clan Macleod

Above is a picture of the James Craig at berth in Darling Harbour and below is the lounge in the captains quarters, with all the comforts of home, including an open fire place.

It was a very interesting day.  We also went for a tender ride on the harbour, where it was much cooler.

The meal is as delicious as it looks.

I have just had afternoon tea with some very good friends at this beautiful nursery in Turramurra.  Great atmosphere, good friends, good coffee and great weather.

The temperature is predicted to be 34 degrees celsius here today in this harbourside city of Sydney Australia.  The sky is a beautiful blue with not a cloud to be seen.

This photograph was taken from Balmain looking back towards the city.

I had this very yummy baked avocado for lunch today.  I enjoyed it so much thought I would share the recipe with you.

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees.

Ingredients:

one medium to large avocado
two small eggs
tasty cheese, grated
cooked bacon
paprika

Method:

Cut the avocado in half, remove seed. Scoop out a small amount of the avocado. Place the two halves of the avocado in a small dish.

Crack the eggs into the avocado halves. Top with bacon and cheese and sprinkle with paprika.

Bake in oven for twenty minutes or until set.  Serve alone or with a salad.

This tastes as good as it looks and is an easy, healthy, high protein, low carbohydrate breakfast or lunch.

I took this photo today of Gosford Waterfront on the Central Coast of New South Wales.  It's well worth a visit.  Beautiful isn't it?

I have just spent a very enjoyable Valentine's Day with some very good friends and thought I would share with you some photos of the very yummy food we had for lunch.
